What Is Screen Printing?

Screen printing is a garment-decoration method that uses a prepared mesh screen and ink to print artwork directly onto apparel. Each print colour is normally prepared separately and applied through its own screen, allowing durable, consistent reproduction across a quantity of matching garments.

Because much of the setup is completed before the production run begins, screen printing becomes especially practical for larger quantities of the same design. Supershirt screen printing has a 12-piece minimum.
