What Is DTF Printing?

DTF (Direct-to-Film) printing is a garment-decoration process in which a full-colour design is printed onto a special transfer film, prepared with adhesive and then heat-applied to the garment. Unlike traditional screen printing, the artwork does not need to be separated into individual ink colours, making DTF well suited to detailed and multi-colour designs.

DTF can be used on many cotton, polyester and blended garments. It allows Supershirt to reproduce fine details, gradients and complex colour combinations while supporting both small quantities and larger apparel orders.
